JURISDICTIONDE
NOTEElectrum is a light client. Its own FAQ states the client subscribes its addresses to one main server, so that server can reasonably guess the addresses belong to the same entity, and all connected servers see the client IP address unless a proxy, VPN, or Tor is used. Confirmed transactions are checked with SPV, but the server is trusted for unconfirmed transactions and can lie by omission. Running your own server or connecting over Tor removes most of that exposure. The site also warns to download only from electrum.org and verify GPG signatures.
