Cunicula uses product monitoring instead of visitor analytics: route-budget checks, uptime/API/crawler smokes, freshness guards, and optional first-party Web Vitals for performance metrics. Web Vitals collection is disabled unless NEXT_PUBLIC_ENABLE_WEB_VITALS=1 is set. When enabled, it records the metric name, value, rating, navigation type, timestamp, and a salted hash of the trusted client address only when a server-side salt is configured. Raw IP addresses are not stored by this endpoint.
Older GoatCounter and PostHog disclosure text is intentionally removed because the current application code does not load either service.
