Affiliate Links
Cunicula currently earns no affiliate or referral commission from any service it lists. Every outbound link goes to the provider's own address with no referral code attached. This statement is generated from the directory data rather than written by hand: if a paid link is ever added, this page lists it automatically on the next build.
This is a statement of fact about today, not a permanent pledge. Affiliate arrangements are under consideration, so treat the sentence above as accurate for the current build and check back rather than assuming it holds forever.
Ranking Independence
This is the commitment that does not change with the funding model. Identity requirements, evidence labels, risk labels, jurisdiction notes, and warnings are editorial fields. Payment does not buy a higher score, removal of a warning, inclusion in a ranking, or a better position in any list. Services that pay nothing and services that pay something are ranked by the same published criteria.
Two structural checks back that up rather than asking for trust: the ranking inputs are public in the methodology, and the services that refuse all commercial relationships are not penalised for it. Mullvad and IVPN run no affiliate program at all, by policy, and both remain fully listed and evaluated on the same basis as everything else.
Outbound Link Tracking
Outbound clicks pass through a redirect that appends campaign parameters identifying Cunicula as the source, so a provider can see the traffic came from here. That redirect sets no cookie, stores no visitor profile, and does not depend on whether a link is paid. See the privacy policy for what the site does and does not collect.
Data And API Licensing
