Sanctions Screening definition

Automated or manual checks against sanctions lists, wallet blacklists, and compliance databases to block or flag users, transactions, or counterparties.

Screening runs at onboarding and per transaction: names against lists, wallet addresses against blacklists, and on-chain ancestry against risk scores bought from analytics vendors.

A deposit flagged for its history can hold a swap or freeze a withdrawal. Service pages note published screening behavior.
