Data Broker

A company that collects, buys, packages, and sells personal information such as names, addresses, location history, and behavioral data.

Broker inputs include public records, purchase and loyalty data, app location SDKs, and credit-header data; outputs are people-search listings and audience or risk products. Documented buyers include marketers, insurers, and government agencies purchasing data that would otherwise require process.

Removal is per-broker opt-out, and records repopulate from the same sources, which is why removal is a recurring workflow rather than a one-time task. The linked guide documents the manual and automated routes.
